Need a mentor? Want to mentor?

CASE V mentor program aims to provide results

I trust that I am not the only one who believes that CASE, its membership and in particular one individual influenced my career. It is with this thought in mind that CASE District V is beginning a formal mentoring program which will continue to influence careers in a more organized manner.

The mentoring process can be as little or as much as schedules permit. The involvement / activity can be as little as phone or e-mail contact, to in-person advising, and anything in between. No formal structure will be put into place other than the district acting as a clearing house.

The mentor will choose his or her mentee from a listing of individuals seeking mentors; no assignments will be made. The selection process will match participants mainly by work discipline. Pairings will allow for the level of contact needed (minimal, moderate or maximum) as well as the level of experience needed (minimal, moderate or maximum). No one will be overcommitted.

The need is apparent, therefore the district is asking you to consider serving as a mentor by “giving back” to our District and profession. Included are the forms for both mentors and mentees.

Please consider volunteering and respond today.

Thanks,
