About the Program
CASE V By Demand conferences are intended to serve district members with intensive one-day programming that will make the most of your time and budget.
This program is targeted to new and mid-level alumni professionals who are working to build the leadership and management skills they will need to boost their careers and become more productive advancement leaders. The program will sharpen management skill sets, explore trends that will impact alumni relations within the next 10 years, and will identify leadership styles and techniques that will allow attendees to grow within their current organization or prepare to take the “next step” in their careers.
Attendees can count on an energetic and highly interactive program.

| 9-10 a.m. | Lifestyles of the Rushed and Fatigued — analysis of the trends that affect alumni relations. Kathy Bickel, Vice President, The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. This is a hands-on approach on how to respond to trends. (Participants walk away with a best practices tip sheet.) |
| 10–11:30 a.m. | Talk to me! - Learn your communication style and how to use to get ahead in your career Ralph Neal, Director of Educational Services for Employee Resource Association (Participants walk away with an action plan on how to communicate for success.) |
| 11:30–12:30 p.m. | Lunch and Networking exercise |
| 12:30–2 p.m. | What about me! — Using the Meyers-Briggs to learn your leadership style Lori Thomas, Career Counselor, Career Exploration Office at The Ohio State University (Participants walk away with an assessment of their leadership capabilities.) |
| 2–3 p.m. | Free Agents — Tips to get ahead in your job Greg Sharkey, Senior Development Officer, Denison University (Particpants will walk away with a tip sheet of career building ideas.) |
