2010 Volunteer Opportunities

Become a member of the 2009 CASE V Conference Team by volunteering during the conference. Volunteers are needed as session hosts and staff for the Registration Desk, Local Hospitality/Information and Session Host Center. Commitment and responsibilities are small; rewards are great. Volunteering is a wonderful way to get to know more people and to network while making a valuable contribution to the conference.

Registration Desk

At the Registration Desk, volunteers greet attendees and distribute conference packets. You will get acquainted with colleagues quickly. For more information and to volunteer, contact Brenda Hudkins at 330-672-KENT or indicate your interest on the 2010 conference registration form.

Career Development, Local Hospitality, and Evaluations

This year CASE V is offering specific bonus sessons and exciting roundtables in place of the former Career Development Center. Join one of the sessions or roundtables while at the conference for a chance to share your perspective on career advancement. No advanced sign-up required!

Volunteer to host the Local Hospitality area which offers the latest program updates, help with navigating around the hotel, and information on Chicago restaurants, attractions and events. The conference message board is located here, along with sign-up sheets for special events. Local Hospitality volunteers act as a concierge for CASE V participants. First time to Chicago? No problem! We’d love to have your help. As a local hospitality volunteer, you have a great opportunity to meet your colleagues and get to know Chicago. Volunteers are needed throughout the conference. To volunteer, contact Jorja Porter at 773-821-2845 or indicate your interest on the conference registration form.

Session Hosts

Session Hosts are “room managers.” They:

  • Make sure the necessary equipment is in place for speakers and assist them as needed.
  • Encourage participants to fill out the online evaluation following the conference.
  • Hosting a session you are planning to attend makes the extra time commitment minimal. For more information, contact Jorja Porter at 773-821-2845 or indicate your interest on the registration form.
