My friend Paul Kellett is a talented artist. He generally paints his own works but he also creates some remarkable pieces in tandem collaboration with another local artist. Both are amazing painters on their own — but the pieces they create together are truly stunning.
The Minnesota Partnership for Biotechnology and Medical Genomics is a collaborative research initiative between the University of Minnesota, Mayo Clinic and the state of Minnesota. It joins the investigative strength of Minnesota’s two nationally regarded academic medical centers to bring new treatments to the people of Minnesota and help improve the state’s economy.
Each year CASE V collaborates with educational partners to bring you an extraordinary three days of professional development and training. Our loyal sponsors, advertisers and resource center vendors provide essential support to our conference. CASE V partners with I-CASE and other state organizations, allowing them to capitalize on meeting times and space while in Chicago. Without these important partnerships we wouldn’t be able to offer the quality and quantity of programming at such an affordable rate.
Nowadays, collaborations and partnerships are everywhere. In fact, in many ways they’re essential. Centers and consortiums are created across nearly every organization and community to bring together the greatest minds to develop and support new initiatives. It’s part of the new paradigm caused by tight economic times, as well as options to be more efficient.
This December CASE V welcomes a new partnership—one with APRA. APRA is an international organization for fundraisers who specialize in research and information management. As an organization also committed to providing opportunities for professional development, APRA looks forward to hosting a workshop in partnership with CASE V at this year’s conference.
The workshop—Using Relationship Management to Drive Campaign Success—will cover systematic ways to effectively manage prospects in all phases of a campaign. Highlights of the session include: Auditing Your Prospect Pool; Identifying Prospects for Your Campaign; Building the Gift Pyramid; Analyzing and Forecasting Using Prospect Management; and Campaign Reporting.
CASE V is encouraging APRA members to join us for our entire conference. And, we encourage our CASE V membership to consider participating in the APRA workshop as a pre-conference option on Saturday and Sunday. With the economy as it is these days, institutions are looking for ways to pool resources and get more for less. Why not add this special offering to your CASE V professional development portfolio and walk away with even more knowledge to tackle the never-ending challenges in our field. At only an additional $100, this option is an excellent opportunity to supplement your time in Chicago. We look forward to this new venture with APRA. I’m confident it’s the start of a long, successful relationship. As CASE V looks forward, we hope to explore other similar opportunities that benefit our great colleagues throughout District Five. See you in December!
Sincerely,
