Get ready to connect with the best

33rd annual conference offers networking, new advancement services programming.
Dec. 9-11, 2007
Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers
If you’ve attended a CASE V conference before, you’ve more than likely connected with colleagues from across the Midwest. CASE V often serves as the conduit for lasting relationships — professionally and personally.
For advancement staff to function well, they need to establish a network among colleagues in their own office, as well as with those from throughout the region. For years, CASE V has paved the way for advancement professionals to exchange vital ideas in the spirit of collegialism.
That’s just one of the reasons your 25-member conference committee selected “Connecting the Best” as this year’s conference theme. This year’s conference runs Sunday, Dec. 9, through Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers.
Conference sessions will focus on the traditional seven emphasis areas: alumni, communications, development, executives in advancement, independent schools, two-year colleges and the Web. This year, another is being added — advancement services. This track is designed for staff members who provide information, infrastructure and services to support institutional advancement activities.
This new area of programming will allow us to address an emerging part of the advancement team. We’re very excited to be offering this area of the profession and hope it will encourage greater communication across disciplines.
Also, we’ve added an extra special time to connect. Don’t miss the opportunity to cruise Lake Michigan on the spectacular Odyssey. You’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful Chicago holiday skyline, drink and eat from an outstanding buffet, and be entertained with live music. It’s all available for only $45! (For those attending the newcomers pre-conference, it’s included in that registration fee.)
I hope to see you in Chicago this December.
