The Community College Luncheon

What to do When you Don't Know Bill Gates or Warren Buffett

Monday, Dec. 11, 12:15-1:45 p.m.

The majority of the money given away in the United States is given by individuals with household incomes of less — often far less — than $100,000. However, many organizations focus their development efforts on raising money from foundations and corporations. And, when thinking about individual donors, the emphasis often turns to wealthy donors with whom their institution may have no direct connection. This session will open a discussion about why we need to rethink the way we think about raising money from individuals.

— Jackie Kaplan, Fund Raising Consultant & Coach, Get Sums

Luncheon and program is $10. Due to limited seating, pre-registration is necessary. You must pre-register on the registration form.
