Waves Lounge

After Sunday's CASE V Opening Extravaganza, which concludes with free wine and beverages in the Resource Center, come to the Waves Lounge on Level 3-Lobby in the hotel for fun! The Ron Harris Music Group will again entertain CASE V participants from 9:30-11:30 p.m. with fabulous dance music. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy a live band while networking with CASE V colleagues! Wear your school colors — attire is casual.

COE Fellowship Luncheon

The Committee on Opportunity and Equity promotes the advancement of multicultural initiatives to ensure a diverse and safe work environment for the advancement professional.

As professionals in advancement, we know that all are enriched by the diversity of many voices. This is why we welcome you to come to the COE luncheon and lend your voice to the conversation as we work toward renewing a commitment to the mission, values, and vision of COE. We also will continue our tradition of using this as a special time to honor one of our colleagues with the 5th annual Outstanding Commitment to Professional Development Award, as well as to introduce the Jupiter Fellowship recipient. CASE V Night on the Town

Monday, Dec. 12, 5-11 p.m.

Take advantage of Christmastime in Chicago! Head out to see the Marshall Field's windows or walk the Magnificent Mile from 5-6:30pm.

• Shopping on Michigan Avenue. The Magnificent Mile offers 460 stores in eight city blocks. Beyond the Chicago favorites like American Girl, Crate & Barrel and Niketown, choose from delectable restaurants, unique shops and several museums and galleries to round out your evening on the mile.
• Shopping on State Street. The landmark State Street Retail Historic District and the surrounding area in Chicago's Loop are considered by many to be the heart of Chicago's culture and commerce. Just south of the Chicago River, discover superb shopping, featuring gigantic flagship department stores like Marshall Field's, Carson Pirie Scott, Old Navy and Sears.

There's no better way to end your day than with dinner and a movie!

• PRP Wine Dinner at Saffron on Hubbard
  6:30-8:30 p.m.
  Do you enjoy wonderful food and wine? Then this event will make Monday night in Chicago a memorable one. PRP Wine invites you and 49 others to enjoy a fabulous four course gourmet dinner and wine event. Food to die for and an outstanding selection of wines with each course. Savor your choice of either pan seared Sea Scallops or black pepper crusted Filet Mignon with potato pave. This event that will sell out quickly, so register early. Cost is $60 per person.
• Hollywood Sneak Preview
  9-11 p.m.
  Join your CASE colleagues at the AMC River East 21 Movie Theatre directly north of the Sheraton for an advance screening of a major motion picture. Action, drama, animated adventure or romantic-comedy — who knows? But, it will be big! At this point, all we can tell you is that the movie will not have been released yet, so you can brag to your friends that you saw it first! Cost is $8 per person, which includes popcorn and a small soft drink.

Where can I find sample job descriptions for alumni relations positions? How can I stay on top of best practices in educational advancement? This breakfast session will focus on the results of the 2005 CASE compensation survey and highlight other resources from the CASE mother-ship that can be integrated into your daily decision-making tool box.
