Amtrak offers service to Chicago’s Union Station, a short $7 cab ride from the Sheraton. Get train information at 1.800.USA.RAIL or www.amtrak.com.

Airports

From O’Hare:

  • Airport Express Shuttle: The shuttle service from O'Hare International Airport for the downtown hotels departs every 5 to 10 minutes throughout the day. To O'Hare International Airport, the shuttle departs the hotel at :20 and :50 after the hour between 4:20 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. The shuttle costs approximately $20 one-way and $36 round-trip.
  • CTA: Blue Line Train, 24-hour service; cost is $1.50 one-way per person; travel time to downtown is 40 minutes; exit train at LAKE/CLARK. The hotel is approximately a $5 taxi ride from the train station.
  • By car:
    • Exit the Airport onto I-90 (Kennedy Expressway)
    • Follow the signs to downtown Chicago
    • Exit onto Ohio Street (one-way eastbound)
    • Continue on Ohio Street approx. 11 blocks, passing Michigan Avenue to
    • Fairbanks/Columbus Drive
    • Turn right on Fairbanks/Columbus Drive
    • Go 4 stoplights to East North Water Street (you will see the hotel ahead on the left)
    • Turn left to the hotel

From Midway:

  • Airport Express Shuttle: The shuttle service from Midway Airport for the downtown hotels departs every 15 minutes throughout the day. To Midway Airport, the shuttle departs the hotel at :15 and :45 after the hour between 6:15 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. The shuttle costs approximately $15 one-way and $27 round-trip.
  • CTA: Orange Line Train: Hours are 5:15 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; cost is $1.50 one-way per person; travel time to downtown is 25 minutes; exit train at RANDOLPH/WABASH. The hotel is approximately a $5 taxi ride from the train station.
  • By Car:
    • Exit Airport onto Cicero Avenue North
    • Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway) until it ends on Lake Shore Drive
    • Take Lake Shore Drive North and follow directions for Lake Shore Drive headed north

From Lake Shore Drive

Headed north:

  • Exit Lake Shore Drive at the Illinois/Grand Avenue exit
  • Go straight to the 2nd stoplight at Grand Avenue
  • Turn left onto Grand Avenue
  • Go 3 blocks to Columbus/Fairbanks
  • Turn left onto Columbus
  • Go to the 2nd stoplight at East North Water Street (you will see the hotel ahead on the left)
  • Turn left to the hotel

Headed south:

  • Exit Lake Shore Drive at the Illinois/Grand Avenue exit
  • At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Grand Avenue
  • Go 3 blocks to Columbus/Fairbanks
  • Turn left onto Columbus
  • Go to the 2nd stoplight and make a left onto East North Water Street
  • The hotel is located on the right hand corner of this intersection

From Major Highways

From the north/northwest:

  • I-94 East (Edens Expressway) or I-90 (Kennedy Expressway)
  • Exit onto Ohio Street (one-way eastbound)
  • Continue on Ohio Street approx. 11 blocks, passing Michigan Avenue to Columbus Drive
  • Turn right on Columbus Drive/Fairbanks
  • Go 4 stoplights to East North Water Street (you will see the hotel ahead on the left)
  • Turn left to the hotel

From the west:

  • I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway)
  • 290 will turn into Congress Parkway
  • Turn Left (North) onto Columbus; follow for approx. 1 mile
  • After crossing the Chicago River, turn right on E. North Water
  • The Sheraton is located on the right hand side at 301 E. North Water

From the south:

  • 1-57 North to I-90/94 West Dan Ryan Expressway)
  • Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway) until it ends on Lake Shore Drive
  • Take Lake Shore Drive North and follow directions for Lake Shore Drive headed North

From the southwest:

  • Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway) until it ends on Lake Shore Drive
  • Take Lake Shore Drive North and follow directions for Lake Shore Drive headed North

From the southeast:

  • I-80/94 West to I-94 West (Bishop Ford Freeway)
  • Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway) until it ends on Lake Shore Drive
  • Take Lake Shore Drive North and follow directions for Lake Shore Drive headed North

Parking

Parking is available with the Sheraton Hotel valet and several nearby self-park lots.
Valet Parking at the Sheraton: Use the hotel check-in circle on E. North Water St. CASE V has negotiated a special conference rate of $15 per day with in and out privileges on the daily fee. The Sheraton also offers self-parking for $27 per day with no in and out privileges.
