Career Center Workshops

The University of Michigan Recruitment and Personnel Planning team welcomes you to take part in CASE V’s Career Center workshops. You will gain valuable information on career planning in development and alumni relations.
By spending a few minutes deliberately thinking about and planning for your future career in development and alumni relations, you will gain a confidence and direction that will be a great resource and guide to you and the organizations you work with. Examine the future of your career by:
- Defining an ideal job description; describe in full detail what you are ultimately looking for in a job
- Developing a long-term career plan
- Examining possible career paths in Development and steps to move forward
- Learning how to develop your own career network

More than five years of experience and success in designing programs, reaching new audiences, supervising volunteers, and managing event budgets. Open to small and large environments and would be available after Jan. 1, 2006.

Liberal Arts College in the Midwest (Urban Setting) seeks Associate Director for Annual Giving. Major responsibilities include: building relationships with prospects for gifts up to 20K; oversight of annual alumni solicitation, and goal-setting and design of an annual giving plan. Supervises two assistants to implement direct mail and telephone campaigns. Candidates with three to five years of relevant experience, strong presentation skills, and demonstrated success in setting and reaching giving goals are encouraged to apply. Submit writing sample with resume.
