The Pride of CASE Awards Program

After three days of work, it’s time to relax! That’s why we have a great luncheon planned for you. Along with a specially-prepared lunch by the Sheraton’s fine chef, we’ll recognize CASE V retirees and find out the winners of the first-ever “Pride of CASE V” awards. But don’t expect a typical recognition program. It’ll be emceed by Chicago’s very own “The Second City.”

The Second CitySince 1959, The Second City has established itself as a Chicago landmark and a national treasure. The theatre that launched the careers of such comic greats as John Belushi, Mike Myers, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner is coming to the Sheraton to perform a specialized custom show for CASE V!

Alumni Holidays
One lucky attendee will win a trip through the waterways of Europe, courtesy of Alumni Holidays.

At the end of the program, there’s a chance to win a trip from Alumni Holidays: "Charlemagne’s Dream European River Cruise.” Once upon a time, Charlemagne dreamed of connecting the waterways of Europe into one vast thoroughfare from the North Sea to the Black Sea. The formidable engineering and political challenges this vision presented took nearly 1200 years to overcome. The Main-Danube Canal, one of the most impressive engineering feats of all time, was the realization of this dream and, since September 25, 1992, has linked an enchanting world of fairytale castles and cities steeped in tradition. On this exciting journey through the heartland of the Bavarian Alps and the breathtaking Wachau Valley, you’ll marvel at spectacular natural beauty, well-preserved medieval charm and architectural splendor. You’ll traverse the Main-Danube Canal and the Danube River as you relax in comfort aboard the elegant M/S Swiss Pearl. You’ll explore historic Nuremberg, regal Regensburg, picturesque Passau, the Wachauer towns of Linz, amazing Melk and Durnstein and of course classic Vienna. The value of “Charlemagne’s Dream” is $6,195.00.

You won’t want to miss this great event! Extra guests may attend for $40 — see the registration form.
