Overflow Hotel Arrangements
Sunday, November 18, 2007
Due to heavy demand for hotel accommodations, CASE V has arranged for a block of rooms at the Hotel Intercontinental located at 505 North Michigan. The rate is $130 (plus tax) for the Main Building and $160 (plus tax) for rooms in their historic tower. Attendees can call 312-944-4100 or 800-628-2112 and ask for the "CASE District V Meeting" or Reservation Code FE2 to get these rates. (Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to arrival or individual will forfeit a one night (plus tax) deposit. This block rate will expire when the block is full or November 30th whichever comes first.
Note: A limited number of Sheraton rooms may still be available for all nights except Monday night (and at any given time there could be a cancellation which would free up a room on Monday night). The Sheraton block rate expires on November 23rd.

CASE V Board Nominations
Thursday, November 01, 2007
Dear CASE V Colleagues,
Again this year, CASE V will utilize an electronic voting system for election of the slate of officers and directors as presented by the nominating committee. This process allows all institutions to participate in the voting process and to ensure that the one institution/one vote stipulation in our bylaws is being properly administered.
Nominations for officers and directors were solicited from all members through an open call in the district newsletter, e-mails and on our district website.
The official ballot for the district will be distributed electronically on November 12th to the membership coordinator for each institution. They will have until November 30th to cast their vote. Below is the slate, which will be presented on the ballot.
Please share your thoughts with your institution's membership coordinator so that he or she may cast an informed vote on behalf of your institution.
Results of the voting will be shared during the annual business meeting at the opening session of the conference on Sunday, December 9, 2007.
Thank you for your continued support of CASE V. We hope to see you at the conference.
Sincerely,
Teresa D. Exline
Chair, CASE V Board of Directors
