Board nominations sought

The CASE V 2005 Nominating Committee is now seeking nominees for positions to the CASE V Board of Directors. Send nominations including name, title, institution, mailing address and phone number to Bruce Loessin, CASE V Nominating Committee Chair, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, 9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44195. Or, e-mail Bruce at loessib@ccf.org. Nominations must be received by Sept. 15.

CASE V's promotional materials for the 2004 annual conference earned a Gold award from CASE's international Circle of Excellence competition.
Promotional materials for "Treasuring our past ... mapping our future," held Dec. 12-14, 2004, received a top nod from the judges in competition among CASE's eight districts. Promotional efforts were successful — 1,847 people registered for the conference, the district's third largest in its 30-year history.
Marketing and editing efforts were overseen by Conference Chair Brad Quarberg, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Print materials were designed by Florence Aliesch, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse; Web design was by Lynsey Struthers, Minnesota Medical Foundation.
Pride of CASE V Awards deadline extended

CASE V members still have time to submit their entries to the Pride of CASE V Awards Program.
The deadline for submissions to judging coordinators and payments to the awards co-chair has been extended to 5 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2005. Winning works will be displayed during the CASE V conference Dec. 11-13, with recipients recognized during the CASE V Grand Luncheon. Good luck!

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is an international association of education advancement officers, who include alumni administrators, fund raisers, public relations managers, publications editors, and government relations officers. The ultimate goal of advancement professionals is to enhance their institutions by bringing in support — be it in the form of money, alumni loyalty, public esteem, or new students. In turn, CASE's purpose is to help these people advance the cause of education. It does this by offering information resources and training opportunities to aid its members.
CASE District V includes members from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
